Team
A team creates a culture and style that team members can identify with. It provided the sense of belonging which then leads to motivation and increased sense of contribution. To have a well-functioning team, the following questions must be considered:
- How well do the team members communicate with each other?
- How developed are the team member’s soft skills?
- How much freedom does the team have in making decision, depending on the maturity of the team?
- How are conflicts anticipated and resolved?
- How are standards drawn up and agreed upon?
- How ethics, integrity and general sense of contribution is maintained?
- What is used to encourage the team towards their goal?
- What processes are in place to increase the bonding between the individuals in the team?
- How project leaders within the group are assigned, supported, led, and communicated with?
- How communication between all levels, internally and externally are encouraged, monitored, facilitated, and improved?
- What training activities are provided for the team?
- How much feedback is given to the group on its overall progress and efficiency?
