When people are asked why the network has isolates (connected to only one other person), outliers (not connected to anyone) or is just not as dense as it should be, they usually reply with the following:

• “I don’t know her, so I don’t call her.”
• “We are in different offices, so we never run into each other.”
• “We were friends from before.”
• “We worked together on a committee.”
• “Our jobs force us to talk.”

The Network Analysis will bring these issues to surface so they can be dealt with.
