Self-Motivation
Motivation is a critical skill used to increase achievements. Successful people are usually recognised for their ability to motivate themselves despite all the hurdles, difficulties and setback to finally get what they want.
Motivation allows us to control our emotions or even limit them. This is how we manage to diet and spend a lot of effort in the gym to get fit despite getting tired in the process or have many sleepless nights so we can prepare ourselves for a key exam. We understand that we may need to defer gratification of certain emotions in order to receive a much bigger reward later in life.
