Research shows that when Network Analysis is carried out on a team and the results are shown to the members, the vast majority can see the problems straight away and they desire the network to change to something better. They usually want the following:

• Few cliques or preferably no cliques in the team
• No isolates and certainly no outliers.
• Much higher network density so that it is easy for everyone to communicate with everyone else
• No critical person that the team must rely on exclusively
