Next to the IF test, the VLOOKUP (Vertical Lookup) is one of the best used functions.  It looks for a value in the leftmost column of a table, and then returns a value in the same row from a column that you specify.

NB:  The value you are looking for must be in the first column of all the worksheets and must be a unique identifier e.g. ID Number, Personnel Number.
