ABC Conferences offered a conference titled, “Managerial skills for the administrative professional” that sounded great. It promised to teach administrative professionals how to communicate effectively, improve their writing skills and how to manage small projects.  As your company is focused on improving the skills of their employees, they decide to send four administrative professionals to the conference to be held from 1-2 June at the ABC Conference training center in Pretoria. The fee was R5,200.00 each, and it was paid in advance.

About six weeks before the conference, you learned that three of the administrative professionals would be tied up in projects that would not be completed in time for them to attend.
