This is one of my most favourite modules as it involves creativity.  It is something most of us as adults forget how to do.  Creativity belongs to everyone – you don’t need special skills or talents.

I would like you to watch the following video from “Tape Face”. He was a contestant a season of America’s Got Talent. While you are watching take note of the audience and the judges at the beginning of the video and then then total transformation at the end.

I hope watching that put a smile of your face and a tune in your mind. 

What is so special about Tape Face?  The fact that he takes a chance and does things that you and I would never do for fear of being laughed at or people thinking we are silly.  Did you notice how the attitude of the audience and the judges went from being unsure in the beginning to being totally entertained a the end.  The audience loved him and voted him through to the finals of the competition.  His creativity – the ability to take nothing and make something of it – has won him a number of awards.  He hosts his own show in Las Vegas.

We can be like Tape Face – we just have to get rid of the doubts and fear and worry about what others will think.  We need to take a chance otherwise we will never know how are ideas will end up.  We could be sitting on a million and one fantastic ideas and never know the success they could have – unless we try!
